New Joint : Golden Section - Say Goodbye To Your Friends (Golden Section Remix)

Golden Section is a crew hailing from the Vancouver, British Columbia area, consisting of Moka Only, Birdapres and DJ K-Rec. Originally formed in the late '90s, the group recently returned with "Welcome To The Agrodome", an album produced entirely by DJ K-Rec. Today's joint is the remix of "Say Goodbye To Your Friends", lifted from the project.

It's dope to see Birdapres still putting in work. I don't know how many of you remember him, but he dropped a handful of quality 12-inches with his partner DJ RKV between 1996 and 1997. Two records every underground head should own are "Checkin For Ya", released in 1997 on Taboo Records, and "Indecision / Ya Need To Quit", released in 1996 on First Imperial Recordings by R.T.A. (Runnin' The Asylum), a trio comprised of Birdapres, DJ RKV and Che Imperial. Both 12"s are prime examples of the raw, independent sound that made the Canadian underground scene so special during the mid '90s.
