Mack-A-Damien Thorne is back with his WHPK Classics and blesses us with a demo by the Chicago-based group Blah Zae Blah, recorded around 1993 I think. The group was formed in the early 90s and was comprised of Ski One a.k.a Ski the Jaz Daddy O, Vibe The Ughressah, Quasheem Bali (RIP) & DJ Mass.
The group had a deal (a wack deal) with Island Records. They recorded some material in NYC in 1993 but an album was never released unfortunately. Mack Thorne uploaded another demo by Blah Zae Blah three years ago, which I didn't blog about at the time. The song is titled "No Love Lost".
