Bonafide - Entering The Combat Zone EP - 1995

12" - 1995 - Drop Dead Records Inc.

Bonafide was a duo from Hyde Park section of Boston, consisted of The Illman Shamrock and White Gold. In 1995 , they dropped their 7-Track "Entering The Combat Zone" EP on Drop Dead Records Inc. All the tracks were produced by The Illman Shamrock and Co-produced by White Gold.

It was their first and last release... No more info about these artists ...except maybe that my man Brendan Gage-One Burke told me that one day DJ Premier posted a pic of himself & Guru in Boston 1980’s with another rapper named MC White Gold ...but we don't know if it’s him though ...

If you've got any info about Bonafide, please leave a comment !
Peace

Biazee - Just Parlay / Mindflow - 1993

12" - 1993 - Capitol B.I. Music

Here is the wax released on Capitol B.I Music by Biazee from Irvington, NJ in 1993. Both tracks of the records "Just Parlay" and "Mindflow" were produced by Frank Hatchett a.k.a  GL Phatchumpe a.k.a Git Loose who was a member of the group called the Orphans (Dea Orfinz). The connection between Biazee and Git Loose happened with the help of Git Loose's cousin Kevin Morse (Power Move Entertainment) who managed Biazee at that time.

The lead single "Just Parlay" on the A-side features Dea Orfinz (GL, Heavy Hitter, Mack 10 & Sheed) and an other NJ-based emcee named Murda One, affiliated to the Orfinz and also a member of an other group called Ransom (Runamuk & Murda One).

Demo Tape : Big Nique ‎- Untitled Demos

Here is an emcee I'd like to find... Big Nique !
First time I've listened to these 3 dope demos recorded circa '93-'94, it was when Sneak Tipp uploaded the snippets on his youtube channel in 2015. No info about this artist except that he might be from Westchester County, NY (Yonkers, New Rochelle, Mount Vernon...) due to the Area code of the phone number.

If you've got more info about this emcee or RoamAloneMusic, please feel free to contact me... while waiting check the snippets !!

12" - 1995 - Cornerboy Prod

A physical copy of their debut 12" is really hard to find nowadays... the wax came out in 1995 on Cornerboy Prod and both tracks "Payback" and "Don't Worry" were produced by Melvin "Ruggedness" Carter (of Ruggedness Madd Drama)

I would have liked to give you more info about the Lyrical Terrorists... I was in contact with DRK and he was down to answer all my questions but it seems he changed his mind and decided not to do it ...

Here are some pics of the crew published in the Philly Street Buzz Magazine (May 1993) and shot at the Rap Underground North Hip-Hop Showcase.

Big Up to Kenny White !
Props to Digital Stimulation for the tracks.
