Mass Influence - The Underground Science - 2022

2xLP - 2022 - 90sTapes / HHV

"Hailing from Atlanta, GA, Massinfluence has always been one of our favorite new school crews and "The Underground Science" is still one of those nuggets to recommend when someone is digging for jazz-infected boombap rap. Originally released in 1999, the trio consisting of Audessey, H2O and Cognito created a conscious classic all the way through that remains timeless. Next to the original 11 tracks the re-release contains 7 bonus tracks." - Courtesy of 90s Tapes

Available on 2xLP (500 copies), CD (150 Jewel Case - 150 Digipak) & Tape (100 copies)

Sleestack'z ‎- Ruination / Crystal Clear - 1995

12 - 1995 - Ichiban International

First and only 12" single released by the Sleestack'z in 1995. This wax contains the remix versions of "Ruination" and "Crystal Clear", both produced by Spearhead X (Mass Influence) and which aren't on the album version.

For those who don't know this group yet, The Sleestack'z were a 4 man hip-hop group (J-Nailz, Dwella, Nic & Oxx) from the mid 90s, based out of Atlanta (originally from NY). Their debut (and only) album "Behind The Iron Curtain" was released in 1996 via Ichiban Records. Ichiban was the Koch Records of the early 90s. Their album had some underground buzz and many consider it an obscure hip-hop gem. Latchkey co-owner K (aka nomadic trackz) and his production partner Naga, producing as the production duo Straight Roots, were the producers behind the Slee. The album has been reissued in 2015 by Gentleman's Relief Records.
