MYSTERME & DJ 20/20 - Let Me Explain LP - 2020

"Taha and JTLM records in association with IteM records are happy to present you the 1994 underground classic album “Let Me Explain” vinyl LP by Mysterme and DJ 20/20.

Pucho (aka Mysterme) grew up in the Bronx of Puerto Rican heritage; his early influences were old-school rap, especially Run DMC. He first met and worked with Lamar Gardner (aka DJ 20/20) when they attended South Bronx High School, one of the toughest schools in the country.

Mysterme moved to San Francisco after graduation to find a record deal but after Joe Quixx produced his “Unsolved Mysterme” single, he moved back to New York, where DJ 20/20 had already produced some local hardcore rap. The duo began recording and were soon signed by Gee Street Records.

A remix of “Unsolved Mysterme” was their first single; Let Me Explain (1994) is autobiographical and showed the group as socially conscious hardcore rappers speaking out against violence on songs such as “Happy like Death” and “Playtime’s Over.”

With the release of the album, Mysterme and DJ 20/20 establish their modus operandi as straight-up hard, no chaser, Boogie Down Bronx style" - courtesy of IteM Records

KING TEE - Tha Triflin’ Album Vinyl LP - 2020

LP - 2020 - IteM Records

"Taha and JTLM records in association with IteM Records are very proud to present you for the first time on picture cover the third album of the Compton legend King Tee from the world famous Likwit Crew. The album has two sides a “drunk” side and a “sober” side, showing us what’s goin’ on in L.A. and Compton.
Tha Triflin’ Album, with its mixture of raucous black and blue party humor and harrowing depictions of sexploitation and violence, is a reality sandwich from the streets of South Central L.A. Ice cube makes a guest appearance on “KIng Tee’s Beer Stand”, an actual St. Ides commercial that became the #1 most-requested recording on the L.A. radio station K-DAY. He also featured on “Hoe B-4 Tha Homie” with Deadly Threat.
Tee unleashes Tha Alkaholiks, J-Ro and Tash whose lyrical styles add serious strength and versatility to the album. Writing and recording over a period of eight months, King Tee coproduced Tha Triflin’ Album with his redoutable crew – DJ Pooh, Broadway, DJ Aladdin and his DJ, E-Swift from Tha Alkaholiks. Last but not least, legendary east coast producers Marley Marl and DJ Bobcat helped him to add the hardcore NY vibe. The beats are mean and lean, the raps are razor-sharp and the music is def and dope. A must-have for any Hip Hop lovers!!" - IteM Records

Tha Chamba - Makin' Illa Noize 2xLP - 2018

For those who don't already know the Chicago based group named Tha Chamba, the group consisted of Chainsaw, Riot 1 & Toxic, and their classic debut album " Makin' Illa Noize" was released in 1995 on Coroner Records.

"Chainsaw and Riot 1 were from the low end of Chi. They met up as shorties in the jetzz. As Time passed they met an M.C from the wild west side of Chi that had been battling niggazz with his skills for damn near ten years as a kid. This nigga with the slimbuild was Toxic, (Chemical B.). "I met up with Chain and Riot and we hooked up in about 88-n-shit. We started making dope shit, doing shows n-shit, knowhatimsayin' and nassha it started." Toxic prides himself off being a lyrically superb M.C. and hates copy-cat M.Cs, "I love originality in my shit. Chain, Riot and myself work hard at this shit, and we started our own thing that's paying off. Ain't no doubt in my dome that we gone keep it real as hell."
'Hoodthang' is the first single off the debut album 'Making Illanoize'. This shit is ten cutzz dEePaSSfUcK!!!

Toxic serves shit up a storm on the trax "Sayalilsumthin & The Essence", sure to follow 'Hoodthang'. To add insult to the injury of Sucka-ass MCs, a guest appearance by female MC Divine cripples niggazz and leaves ya stunned by skill on the cut 'Illsane Illusion'. This shit is enuff to make any nigga think twice times a million about getting on with these supurb M.Cs and phatt-azz trax laid down by the 2PS (purpose to become Large).

Chainsaw, Riot 1 and Toxic, Makin Illa Noise for the real B-Boys in ILL and abroad letting niggazz know up front ................. " - Coroner Records - '95 Press Sheet
