"In 1993 Wake Up Call came from the late, great Tony D not long before he sadly passed. Unfortunately Baby Chill left this earth sometime in the 90’s as well. Chill came straight outta Highstown, New Jersey, to continue the Jersey funk flava Naughty By Nature, Redman and Double XX Posse have dropped on us. Baby Chill demonstrates he can flip the script on the funky tip. He catches wreck on the first single, “The Graveyard”, as well as the cut “Ducks Fly South” (which uses a slowed version of Naughty’s “Hip Hop Hooray” groove).
New Jersey’s Baby Chill was a member of The Funk Family and Blaque Spurm who released the Spurmicidal Tendencies LP (repressed in 2008) and he also appeared on “Good Morning Vietnam” by the Central Jersey Allstars. Taha and JTLM Records are happy to offer you for the first time this album on 2 limited black vinyls. So don’t miss this unique opportunity to acquire this posthumous album full of funky bangers." - courtesy of Taha & JTLM Records
