Heyyy man. So that show you posted today, 7-10-23, brought me back to this one because either the Counsil greatly changed their styles within months, which is very possible, or this is a different group by the same name. This one i like way better, they brought their own really really good beats on Dats and the subject matter is way different. They also spell it "The Counsil", the other one is just "Council", i think. To me the "Council" guys have a harlem/camron style to their sound and i think theyre the same from the 1998 album "Council Era". Not totally positive on any of this yet though, will have to give both a closer listen.
