Amadeus360 & Devine Carama - Guardians of the Boom Bap - 2025

 

Here is an album that deserves to be released on vinyl in my opinion !!  With "Guardians of the Boom Bap", Brooklyn-based producer Amadeus360 and Kentucky-based MC Devine Carama deliver a powerful and cohesive project that pays homage to hip-hop's foundations with sharp lyrics and boom bap productions. The album is an ode to the golden era and a call for a conscious rap revival in today's often watered-down musical landscape. The album wouldn't be complete without a host of seasoned MCs : Blaq Poet, Sadat X, Craig G, Termanology, Reks, King Sun & Mikey D'Struction. 

It came out in June, but I've totally forgotten to blog something about it...but it's better late than never, enjoy ! 

Stretch Armstrong & Bobbito Show - August ?? Pt.2 - 1992 - WKCR

 

Here is another Stretch & Bobbito Show coming from my hard drive disk... I think it could be the second part of the show from August 1992 blogged previously, with King Sun & Fat Joe who were still in the studio. But not sure because this second part contains some Double XX Posse joints which were already played in the previous part, but I know that it happened sometimes that Stretch played the same song twice in the same show. A few short talk breaks but they're all cut unfortunately.

Stretch Armstrong & Bobbito Show - August ?? - 1992 - WKCR

 

Here is something coming from my hard drive disk... a Stretch Armstrong & Bobbito show from 1992. No info about the date unfortunately but I think it was aired in August because Stretch played 3 tracks from the album "Put Ya Boots On" which was released by the group Double XX Posse on August 11th 1992 via Big Beat Records. Same thing for the Brand New Heavies album which was dropped around August 3rd. Just two short talk breaks, one of them with technical difficulties at the end of the second part followed by a freestyle session with King Sun & Fat Joe.
