"From the street's of south side Jamaica, Queens comes one of Hip Hop's most anticipated lyricists of all time. Birth place, Gunchester, U.K., also known as Manchester, England. Arriving in America at four years of age, the youngest of four children (all boys), he lived with both parents in the inner city of Jane & Finch Toronto, Canada. This British born lad quickly adapted to living in a new land, and did not know how to keep matches out of his hands. After starting a number of fires, family troubles accumulated...this problem child had to be relocated by the fourth grade, so his mother sent him to dwell with his uncle in the Bronx, U.S.A. Being a neglected youth, young BLAZE sought comfort from the outside world, becoming heavily influenced by the streetlife. Leaving home repeatedly he soon found himself on his own by age fourteen, but in all actuality, he was always on his own. After going in & out of juvenile facilities, he learned that crime is not the way. Inspired by artists like Bob Marley, Donny Hathaway, Melly Mell & Furious Five, Rakim, and Run-DMC. It wasn't long before BLAZE learned to master this superb technique. Accidentally stumbling upon the film industry, BLAZE started working with actors such as Tupac Shakur, Rosie Perez, John Leguizamo, Marisa Tomei, Charles Dutton, etc. Musically collaborating with rappers such as Fredro Starr, Sticky Fingaz, Lin-que, Ray-J, and going on the Survivial of the Illest Tour with other rappers like Redman (Def Squad), DMX, Onyx, Cormega, etc. It is inevitable that the outcome will be incredible.... Principles: failure is not acceptable." - courtesy of Jason Scott
