Street Life The Dy' Nasty - No Matter Where - 1998

Here is a wax released in 1998 on South Bronx Records, a sublabel of B-Boy Records founded in 1986 by Jack Allen (RIP) and Bill/William Kamara. This 12" is composed of 2 tracks recorded by the group Street Life The Dy' Nasty, titled  "No Matter Where" (Radio Mix, Instrumental Mix, Accapela) on the A-side and "Knowledge Before Wisdom" (Radio Mix, Instrumental Mix, Accapela) on the B-side. The group members also managed the productions.

I wish I could give you some but no info about the artists unfortunately... the only thing I know about the people involved in this record is that Cyril Young, the former Production Assistance / Engineer who became a homeless shelter volunteer, was found beaten to death in his Brooklyn appartment in june 2020 in the Boulevard Houses on Schenck Ave... He worked for B-Boy Records for more than 20 years... Rest In Peace

The Henchmen - Rough & Rugged / I've Been Through Through It - 1996

12" - 1996 - South Bronx Records

This wax came out in 1996 on South Bronx Records. It was released by The Henchmen (not to be confused with Da Henchmen from Ill Cyde Records), a duo consisted of Omega Red and Bolo from Bronx, NY. The tracks were produced by Big Will and Budha Priest.

It's the first and last 12" released by the Henchmen, but for the info Bolo was also a member of a group named 4 Ever Blunted who released a 12" in 1997 on the same record label.
