Subway Hip Hop Vol 17 - The East Coast Corridor Pt3

LP - 2025 - Subway Hip Hop Records

DJ 3rd Rail and Subway Hip Hop Records are back with the 3rd volume of the East Coast Corridor series, a 6 song EP featuring Napoleon Da Legend, Nejma Nefertiti, King Magnetic & Page The Hand Grenade.

" Vol 17 The East Coast Corridor pt. 3  Leaves off where Vol 15 (pt.2) and Vol 10 (pt. 1) ended.  Dope boom bap press on vinyl. As the production gets better the lyrics continue to push the envelope.

On this EP Napoleon Da Legend makes 4 appearances on the this EP. Two solo gems with Superior MC over 3 different beats and Thief with an incredible produced track. He starts this EP with Came To Draw Blood pt. 2 the posse cut with Page and Nejma. Came To Draw Blood pt. 1 can be found on Vol 15  He also rocks with King Magnetic & Page on the song “Depths of Hell”.

Nejma Nefertiti, once again brings that heat she’s known for. Spitting lyrical bullets on the song Buck! Buck! Buck!. Plus blessing the posse cut Came To Draw Blood pt. 2

King Magnetic stops by on the song Depths Of Hell to bring his raw unedited flavor with Napoleon Da Legend and Page The Hand Grenade.

Page The Hand Grenade is back after blessing us with 2 solo EP’s Vol 11 & 16. Featured on the posse cuts Came To Draw Blood pt. 2 & Depths Of Hell. He also has a solo song called “Off The Grid” which explains him at times. He’s like the special forces of MC’s. Comes in, handles business and bounce. PEACE. " - courtesy of Subway Hip Hop Records

Finsta - No Time To Live Foul / Outta Da Dark - 2022

12" - 2022 - Subway Hip-Hop Records

"Subway Hip Hop Records brings you straight from Brooklyn NY “Finsta”. Finsta is half of the duo Finsta Bundy who have spent the last 3 decades plus creating some of the best hip hop records. Finsta takes you on a journey courtesy of Therapybeats(Chicago) and DJ Tren (France) production.

No Time To Live Foul takes you back to his earlier years in Brooklyn and part of his life growing up. With a more soulful feel this track will definitely hit. The remix produced by DJ Tren from France of Street Wyze production. More soulful flavor to compliment this track.

Outta Da Dark is what Finsta is known for. That raw, dirty, gutter, street, dark, boom bap hip hop. This is that head nod type of hip hop that takes you to the golden era of the 90’s era NYC. The remix hits even harder and really makes you miss those years where boom bap hip hop was coming out weekly.

All 4 vocal songs come with instrumental versions. This is one of the last 12” vinyl hip hop record done as a single the way it use to be done. Vocal, remix, instrumental of each song. " - courtesy of Subway Hip-Hop Records

PARKER LEE WILLIAMS AKA P-LEE FRESH R.I.P. TRIBUTE

Shout out to Jose Feliciano a.k.a DJ 3rd Rail for this Parker LEE Williams a.k.a P-LEE FRESH Tribute which will be aired on the Dedicated Hip-Hop Mixshow, on December 13rd 2021 (SUN-MON 12-5AM CST on Chicago's WNUR 89.3FM & www.wnur.org )

"P-LEE was the first person to have a hip hop show on WNUR in the mid 80's, so it's only right that we at WNUR pay our respect to this Chicago hip hop icon.  We will be doing a all CHICAGO hip hop artist show. (MC'S, groups, producers) The first part of the show will be songs that P-Lee produced.

Our first 3 records we put out under the Subway Hip Hop Records label were a joint collaboration with his Jazz Child Records label. He produced many songs on those records. 2 singles with Akbar and 1 single with "Rise" from the original Demigodz.

Originally from NYC he came to Chicago in the early 80's. He had two missions. To make Chicago look and sound like New York City. As one of the first graf writers and the first to have a hip hop show on the legendary WNUR station, he accomplished his mission.

His tags influenced hundreds and his radio show introduced hip hop to thousands weekly. He later on became a producer and that was where he would would make his mark world wide. Producing Jamalski's album and forming the Chicago legendary "Mental Giants" crew with him and MC Akbar. As a producer he worked with Grandmaster Caz, Busy Bee, The Cold Crush Brothers and many more. He was the first to throw hip hop parties at Stepps.

Later on he worked his way up on the Oprah Winfrey show from intern to music director. Knowing him over the decades and working with him on records has been a blessing. Thank you P-LEE for all you did. May you rest in peace." - courtesy of DJ 3rd Rail

'Dedicated' Hip Hop Mixshow - Full Support !!!

"Help save HIP HOP We need your help. Our radio station WNUR 89.3fm & www.wnur.org has our annual phoneathon. From February 21st-March 2nd we are asking "YOU" to make a donation. Here is the Link to the page

Our radio show "Dedicated" tonight Sun-Mon 12-5am CST 2/24/20 will be doing our part to ask our supports to help save Hip Hop. We have been blessed to be able to do our radio show for over 25 years. We're a 7200 watts radio station that reaches 3 Million listeners and have a great stream that lets the world hear this historic mixshow. We're able to play the dirty versions of songs because of our time slot and have complete control of the music we play. Our radio mixshow is free of charge to you. That means if you tune or log in each week you don't have to pay, download and app, subscribe or anything of that nature.

Each week for the last 25 years we've been at WNUR first as "6ft Unda" and now as "Dedicated". That's over 1,500 radio mixshows that are 5 hours long each, using all vinyl. No one else in the world has a history like this. Whether you listen occasionally or religiously you have never been disappointed.

We will be given out these two vinyl albums "A.D.O.R.-CONCRETE" tonight during phoneathon courtesy of Hip Hop Enterprise record label. Visit them and purchase some great hip hop.

When you make your donation please put "Dedicated Hip Hop Mixshow" in the "Notes" section. You can remain anonymous or let the world know who you are. We will be doing this for the next two weeks. You can donate at anytime but when you do it during our show it reflects to the radio executives of how important our show is to not only the world but the radio station. Just look at the last 15 years at how many great hip hop radio shows are no longer on the air or online. Look at how many radio stations no longer play hip hop and the few that do, play the wrong kind of hip hop.

This is why we need your support. Our goal for our show is $3,500. If everyone donated $20 we could reach our goal in 30 minutes. If you don't want to save hip hop don't complain about wack artist, wack DJ's, wack websites, wack radio shows.

Feel free to scroll our page(s) and post(s) to see how much we believe and support and give you real hip hop each week without selling out. Here's our archive page with well over 4 years worth of radio mixshows.,

Here are our social media links. Feel free to spread the word and we're counting on you once again. We've done our part the last year and the last 25 years"
