Let's give some shine to this MC named Black Star who recorded the track titled "Comin' Thru" in 1994, which was released by Nick Wiz on the third volume of his Cellar Selections/Cellar Sounds compilation series.
Black Star also known as B-Sharp (real name Barry Sharp) was originally from Jefferson Park, Elizabeth, NJ. In 1993, he released a first 12" titled "Stompin' Ground" on Hot Productions/ Battlefield Rcords. During the 90s, he was part of a rap trio called 3TO (This That and The Other), which had the chance to open up for Special Ed at the Apollo theater. He was also a member of another crew called Superlife and was known under the moniker Magnetic at that time. That's all I know... I wish I could give you more info about his story but unfortunately Barry Sharp has passed away on November 17, 2022 ... Rest In Peace
