"The Good People, consisting of producer Saint and lyricist Emskee, hail from New York. The highly touted duo have developed a strong following while building a catalog of high quality, soulful hip hop. In 2019, the duo released their acclaimed Good For Nuthin’ album featuring Large Professor, Lil’ Fame, Sadat X, Napoleon Da Legend, Cella Dwellas, G-Roc and Red Alert. This project helped, in part, to solidify The Good People’s place in hip hop.
Earlier this year, The Good People returned with their brand new album, The Greater Good. The album is fully produced by Saint with Emskee coming through with high powered bars. The album also features Lords of the Underground, Shabaam Sahdeeq, Craig G, Rasheed Chappell, DJ C-Reality, DJ Ace, Tone Spliff, Mikey D, Skanks the Rap Martyr, John Jigg$, DJ Eclipse, Rockwelz, Mouf and Nam Nitty. The Tampere two made hands clap by ‘Droppin’ Needles’ alongside Soundsci (U-George, Oxygen and Audessey) in 2017 and join forces here with N.Y.C.’s The Good People (previous collaborators with DJ Format, Boca45 and Large Professor) for a firin’ six track EP. As Good People emcees Emskee and Saint introduce themselves as deceptively nimble in their quip-heavy devastation, the Beetlez scuttle into your eardrums with old skool aesthetic spliced with audacious samples, a quickfire sense of fun and a truckload of deck shredding. Here is the last project released by Emskee and Saint aka The Good People. The album called "Good For Nuthin'" is fully produced by Saint and featuring artists like Large Pro, Cella Dwellas, Lil Fame, Emcee G Roc, Napoleon Da Legend or Sadat X.
It is coming digitally on January15th and the wax will follow in early February via Fresh Pressing Records. Stay tuned fellas !
