Neso - The Move - 1997 / Gumbo - Forty-Eight Hours - 1998
Kaosm : "I was friends with Vinnie Paz in High School, he introduced me to his producer friend Stoupe and we began to work on music and different projects. I knew Caresh outside of knowing Vinnie and Stoupe. I introduced Caresh and Qualified (3rd member of Neso who wasn't on the record) to Stoupe and we began to record songs at Stoupe's house."
Which part of Philly were you all from exactly ?
Kaosm : "We were from Philly and Delaware County, I'm from Philly Chester and Delco areas, Qualified and Caresh are from Media, PA"
What were you hip-hop Influences at that time ?
Kaosm : "Nas, Tribe, Gangstarr, Rakim, Kane, Hieroglyphics, NWA, EPMD... to name a few... I could be here all day with that type of list ! Soul music and R&B are big influences till this day, as well as some personal emcee friends."
Where does the name of Neso come from ?
Kaosm : "It comes from ONESOUL, it's the middle of it ! It was Stoupe's idea."
Could you give me more info about the other artists featuring on the 12" ?
Kaosm : "The record also had a guy named Gifted on it who wasn't in the group at the time but he was fam and it was love because we all wanted the same thing as young kids who wanted to rap. We put money up to to put the record out with discmakers.
Qan and Teniweti are my people, but Oddball and Jay Block I didn't know them. It was evident that people were being used so a lot of people didn't connect or get cool all the guys, I know we cool but we all had no idea how successful it was gonna be, we were just hip-hop head in love with the art.
Nobody knew the business either so there may be some bad feelings and tensions but I got the story no worries. People were on those songs that weren't a part of Neso, Stoupe wanted it to be a collective of emcees later on as me and Stoupe parted ways I took the Neso group beyond that to GUMBO and Black Caucus... No diss to anyone by the way its all love because we thought the music was dope !!"

Trevor J & Loop.Holes - Almost Home - 2020
Here is a brand new project dropped by the San Diego-based MC Trevor J a.k.a Veks and the production team Loop.Holes from Norway. The album is produced by TypeRaw, Axian and LootFattig.
"This album was a long time coming, it means a lot to me because for once, I am comfortable with who I am as an artist and as a human in general. Those who have followed along with my career, most likely know me (Trevor J) as Veks, and under albums released in early 2010's such as "Missing Children", "Get Home Safe, Kid", & "Gone Missing". Those albums were created when I was a very lost teenager, and today I find myself in route to Home, finally. Home is a place within myself that I have been searching for a lifetime. I've worked so hard to get here, and would love to say I've made it, but I'm still in route, progressively moving forward. So here I am, Almost Home." - courtesy of Trevor J a.k.a Veks

MYSTERME & DJ 20/20 - Let Me Explain LP - 2020
"Taha and JTLM records in association with IteM records are happy to present you the 1994 underground classic album “Let Me Explain” vinyl LP by Mysterme and DJ 20/20.
Pucho (aka Mysterme) grew up in the Bronx of Puerto Rican heritage; his early influences were old-school rap, especially Run DMC. He first met and worked with Lamar Gardner (aka DJ 20/20) when they attended South Bronx High School, one of the toughest schools in the country.
Mysterme moved to San Francisco after graduation to find a record deal but after Joe Quixx produced his “Unsolved Mysterme” single, he moved back to New York, where DJ 20/20 had already produced some local hardcore rap. The duo began recording and were soon signed by Gee Street Records.
A remix of “Unsolved Mysterme” was their first single; Let Me Explain (1994) is autobiographical and showed the group as socially conscious hardcore rappers speaking out against violence on songs such as “Happy like Death” and “Playtime’s Over.”
With the release of the album, Mysterme and DJ 20/20 establish their modus operandi as straight-up hard, no chaser, Boogie Down Bronx style" - courtesy of IteM Records
