DJ Madsol Desar & Krumbsnatcha - On The Block For A Minute (1997-2000)

EP - 2026 - HHE

"It all started back in 1987 when Madsol formed a rap duo with the late, great Dialek. They recorded together all the way up until 1995 building a catalog of music that laid the foundation for their lasting legacy in East Coast hip-hop. In 1997, Madsol and Dialek established the production team Knighz Of Muzik, creating countless underground classics for artists including Ed O.G, Scientifik, Concrete Click, Laster, D. Auguste, Da F.E.N.C.E. Men, and many others.

Later in 1997, Madsol relocated to New York City to fully pursue his music career as a producer, DJ, and recording artist. That same year, he founded Hi-Rise Records, one of New York City's premier independent underground hip-hop labels. Bridging the gap between the streets and the industry, Hi-Rise Records became known for its authentic lyricism and uncompromising production. The label released the first official recording by Immortal Technique and went on to release acclaimed underground recordings featuring Talib Kweli, Esoteric, The Last Emperor, and other influential artists.

Hip-Hop Enterprise now proudly presents a project with previously unreleased recordings from DJ Madsol Desar and Krumbsnatcha. We have one track recorded in 1997 at D&D Studios Brooklyn, NY and we have 4 tracks recorded in 2000 at Frame of Art Studios also located in Brooklyn, NY. On the B-Side, we will have all the instrumentals of the project. The timeless production of Madsol combined with vintage Krumb Snatcha from the Snatcha Season era is a definite winner!" - courtesy of Hip Hop Enterprise

Fortress Entertainment Compilation Vol. 1 (1994-1996) - 2026

LP - 2026 - HHE

HHE makes a powerful return with a release that digs deep into the roots of underground hip-hop. In collaboration with Fortress Entertainment, this first installment marks the beginning of a series of projects that promise to unearth more hidden gems from the label’s archives.

This record stands as a true time capsule, showcasing rare and essential recordings from the mid-90s. It kicks off with the full Natural Elements EP from 1994, back when the group was still a six-man crew, featuring an early appearance from the legendary KA (RIP). The project also includes a previously unreleased track from Nightbreed, the mythical duo formed by KA and Kev.

Further enriching the collection are an early classic from L-Swift, a hard-hitting track from the Raidermen, and an outstanding unreleased demo by female emcee Essence, also recorded in 1994.

Available on vinyl (200 Splatter Vinyl - HHV Records Exclusive / 100 Color Vinyl / 200 Black Vinyl) and CD (300 copies with bonus DVD).

MF GRIMM - Scars & Memories - 2025

2xLP - 2025 - HHE

In 2005, MF Grimm released "Scars & Memories", a unique project that lies somewhere between a compilation, a personal memoir, and an act of redemption. More than just an album, it stands as a sonic testimony to a life scarred but not silenced.

MF Grimm, real name Percy Carey, isn't your typical MC. A survivor of an attempted murder, a former drug dealer, and confined to a wheelchair since 1994, he represents a darker often overlooked side of New York’s hip-hop landscape. "Scars & Memories" acts like an audio museum of his chaotic life made of rare and unreleased tracks recorded between 1990 and 2005.

In collaboration with MF Grimm, Hip-Hop Enterprise is now proud to present you a limited reissue on vinyl, CD and for the first time on tape as well. Don't Sleep Fellas!

Various – Ruff Coast Massive: Pre Millenium One LP - 2024

LP - 2024 - HHE

" This was a compilation made in 1996. It Showcases Hip Hop artists from The Central New York region which includes Syracuse NY and the surrounding areas. All the artists on the compilation lived and worked in the area at the time of the recording.

The Notable names that are still doing music professionally are:

Kirk T – This compilation showcased Kirk T as a rapper. Kirk T is the producer and Owner of BanginBeats.com which is a company still in operation that is behind the sound design of many producers around the world. He stil serves mostly the Underground Hip Hop Community.

Swell – Swell aka T Perry is still a producer. He also ran a sound design company called One Stop Beats and He now is heading a new Producer Publication called StudioBums. He is well connected in the whole NY Hip Hop and Urban Music Community.

Soul Son – aka Sharif Bey is the rapper featured on Red Eye and Hold Tight. He is a Kung Fu master and now focuses on his School and Acting career in Syracuse N.Y. I have heard him on some projects over the years so he is still active in the Hip Hop community.

Dj Tes – Tes is also known as Salvatore Chisari. He is still working as a Dj, Recording engineer and Studio Owner. Sal runs redbrick recordings and his new album “Fields of Freedom” will be dropping on March third 2016 (3-3-16)

This new album from Dj Tes (fileds of Freedom) will have Duane E’s son “Koree Reed” featured on the record. Duane E still makes music with Dj Tes often. He just chooses not to release it and make it for the love of hip hop.

Unfortunately One of the Greatest artists on this Pre Millenium compilation passed away somewhere around 2008. His name was Josh and his Emcee name was E-D-I Tor of the Cyanide Poets. I believe The Cyanide Poets still make music. You may be able to find them on facebook as Travis Manley and Capreese Manley, two brothers that can still hold it down on the Mic.

Another awesome artist that passed away on this record was Sand Man. He is the rapper featured on track 9 “Hold Tight”. He was the only artist featured on this compilation that did not live in Syracuse, he was from NYC. More info on him can be obtained from Swell (Studio Bums)

Big Ric we havn't heard from in many years. I don’t even know what his real name was. I hope he is doing well.

I am very happy I released this music and will never stop making dope beats and songs for the love of hiphop!! Thanks for your interest "

Vaughn Smith – Diamondz And Pearlz 2xLP - 2024

2xLP - 2024 - Hip-Hop Enterprise

Almost one year after the release of the CD format, Hip Hop Enterprise is back with the vinyl treatment of Vaughn Smith's debut album "Diamondz and Pearlz" which was originally dropped on tape in 1996.

"The incredibly rare cassette-only 1996 debut of North Philly's Vaughn Smith has finally been restored on this brand-new vinyl edition from Hip-Hop Enterprise. Diamondz and Pearlz is a surprisingly mature, understated and jazzy album that sounds better now than it ever has before.

Working with Smith, who produced all 14 tracks himself, the original DAT masters were recovered but severely damaged, so this release was remastered by Jee Van Cleef from an original tape in addition to further vinyl mastering.

The artwork was started by LDL but due to his busy schedule Manu the Muk took over and brought everything to an impressive end. The album will also come with an insert that features an all-new, exclusive Vaughn Smith interview by Werner von Wallenrod." - courtesy of HHE

Available on Transparant Green Vinyl w/ OBI (100 copies / de Rap Winkel Records Exclusive, coming next week), on Crystal Vinyl (100 copies, HHV Exclusive) and on Black Vinyl (100 copies)

RAW BREED - BLOOD, SWEAT & TEARS - 2024

2xLP - 2024 - HHE / B2DS

"B2DS & HHE are proud to announce we've got Raw Breed in the house once again. This time we will handle their last album, the 1997 "Blood Sweat & Tears" banger. It will finally be available on vinyl (2xLP + insert) for the first time ever and as always there will also be a CD edition available as well.
This album is all killer no filler, and contains more of their trademark hardcore str8 up raw Bronx Boom Bap! The production was handled by T.R. Love (Ultramagnetic MC's), Slej Tha Ruffedge, Jesse West and Ommas Keith. Features include Jesse West on several tracks, The Troubleneck Brothers, T.R. Love as Tommy Gibbs and more.
It gets even better, we were able to add 3 unreleased bonus tracks recorded in the mid 90’s that were all produced by T.R. Love. Both vinyl and CD will be limited to 500 copies, this piece of art is a real must have for all the serious collectors out there." - courtesy of B2DS Records
